The United States Relieve Sanctions Against Huawei

The United States relieve sanctions against Huawei. The US Department of Economic Affairs has eased the sanctions imposed on Wednesday against Chinese smartphone and telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei.

Thanks to a temporary license, Huawei has obtained formal permission to maintain its network equipment and to provide its smartphones with software updates.

The US Department of Economic Affairs placed Huawei on a sanction list on Wednesday,

limiting US companies to do business with Huawei.

As a result, Google refused the Huawei Android license.

The temporary license is valid until August 19.

Previously, Google announced that nothing would change for current owners of Huawei smartphones.
