French President Emmanuel Macron has wished British Prime Minister Boris Johnson a speedy recovery.

 

He hopes Johnson “will soon overcome this ordeal.”

Johnson was transferred to the intensive care unit of a London hospital on Monday after his condition worsened due to infection with the new coronavirus.

“All my support goes to Boris Johnson, his family and the British people in these difficult days,” said Macron.
