British Airways and Lufthansa discontinue Flights to Cairo. The British airline British Airways and the German Lufthansa will cancel all flights to the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in England has tightened up travel advice to Egypt.

The travel advice from the British ministry states that there is “an increased risk of terrorism against aviation”.

No flights next week
That is why British Airways has decided not to fly to the Egyptian capital in the coming week.

Lufthansa has also temporarily suspended all flights to Cairo for security reasons, according to the reports.

Travellers who were about to board the plane to Egypt today,

 were told that the flight had suddenly been cancelled and that no alternative flights were possible for the coming week.

Dutch travellers
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands says that the travel advice for Dutch people will not be adjusted.
