World Health Organization: Learning to Live with Coronavirus

The population of the world will have to learn to live with the coronavirus. It may never go away, warns the World Health Organization (WHO).

As countries begin to gradually ease the restrictions imposed to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, WHO expects that the virus may never be completely wiped out.

No guarantee relaxing corona rules will not lead to the second wave of infections.

It is very difficult to predict when the virus will be overcome, according to the WHO Emergency Director.

It does not rule out the possibility of the virus remaining and “just” becoming one of the viruses that keep popping up locally.

The virus broke out in the Chinese metropolis of Wuhan at the end of last year and has now infected more than 4.3 million people and killed nearly 300,000.
