Twitter is Testing a Button to Dislike Tweets
Twitter is testing a button that allows users to “dislike” tweets. The feature is available to a limited number of users on iOS in the form of up and down arrows on tweets.
An up arrow counts as the already existing ‘like’, a down arrow as the opposite. This is because those down arrows are not visible to others.
Twitter says it wants to learn which answers users find relevant and which don’t by voting up or down on tweets in a conversation.
The arrows do not affect the order of tweets. That’s different from platforms like Reddit, where the most upvoted answer in a conversation is at the top.
