Twitter Buys Startup Smyte to Prevent Online Abuse. Start-up Smyte has been taken over by Twitter. The company focuses on the protection of online users. Twitter confirms the takeover on his blog.

 

Down Town News confirms, the company writes that Smyte is a “valuable addition” to Twitter. The network wants to improve the quality of messages on the platform. In the past, Twitter was regularly in the news because of bullying and threats from users.

In the coming months, technology from the San Francisco company will be implemented on Twitter to prevent online abuse and spam.

It is not known what amount Twitter has paid for the acquisition. There would be a few dozen employees working at Smyte. Twitter is looking for a place within the company for them.
