Pay As You Go for Microsoft Power Apps

Microsoft is adding a pay-as-you-go tier for users of its low-code Power Apps development platform.

With an Azure subscription, customers can now pay for their Power Apps applications and Dataverse capacity costs based on actual usage.

“Traditionally, customers of low-code platforms had to figure out their licensing needs in advance – often involving time-consuming procurement processes and negotiations.

While there are many benefits to the scale and predictability of customer-based licensing, different scenarios today require the flexibility of a usage-based model.

“With deep roots in both Microsoft 365 and Azure,” the Power Apps platform is uniquely equipped to offer customers both options.
