Israel Achieves New Success in the Fight Against Coronavirus
All residents and staff of Israel’s nursing homes and health care facilities have been vaccinated against Covid-19 unless they didn’t want to.
About 160,000 individuals received both doses of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine.
According to the relief organization Magen David Adom (the Israeli Red Cross), the vast majority of the target group agreed to the vaccination.
With a population of 9.3 million, Israel has already administered the first dose of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine to more than 3 million people.
More than 1.8 million inhabitants also received the second, last dose. This makes the country a global leader.
