IPhones India Makers Stop Production Due to Lockdown

Apple iPhones manufacturers in India have temporarily shut down production due to a national lockdown by the Indian government against the corona crisis.

 

It concerns the companies Foxconn and Wistron.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ordered a nationwide lockdown until April 14 to counter the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

As a result, 1.3 billion people are affected in India.

Apple has an office in the city of Hyderabad, where thousands of people work on maps for the company. They are also affected by government measures.
