Arab countries are taking further measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus. In Tunisia, the government announced that the country would be “locked”.

 

Tunisians should only go out when necessary.

In Morocco, too, people’s freedom of movement is drastically restricted. The measure will take effect on Friday evening.

The Moroccan news agency MAP reported that it is not the intention to shut down the economy completely.

People should be prevented from leaving their homes if this is not necessary. People who want to go out must request a document from the authorities.

Jordan will be locked from Saturday. All stores must remain closed.
