‘Apple Wants To Release Its Video Service In April’

‘Apple Wants to Release its Video service in April, Netflix is missing.’ Apple plans to release its new video streaming service in April. Netflix will not be part of this, according to the reports on Wednesday based on insiders.

Apple would like to release its streaming service by the start of May at the latest.

Users can view existing video services and channels via the service,

but also have access to Apple’s series and films.

Netflix will not be part of the service.

Netflix does not work with the comparable American video service from Amazon.

It is still uncertain whether HBO participates because the company is still in discussions with Apple.

These services may only remain available through their app.

It is still to know how Apple’s service is called.

Last month director Tim Cook hinted at the service after the announcement of Apple’s quarterly figures.

“We are going to offer our content, and we have a multi-year partnership with Oprah Winfrey, I can not say more about it at the moment.”

Own films and series from Apple
Recently, news came out more frequently about the expected series and movies from Apple.

For example, the makers of Sesame Street would make a series for the service.

Also, directors M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) and Damien Chazelle (La La Land) are working on content for the service of Apple.

It was already understood that users of Apple equipment could watch the series and films for free.

It is not known whether the service will also become available in the Netherlands.

Apple will hold an event on March 25, when the company is probably revealing the video service.

Reportedly, Apple has invited movie stars, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and JJ Abrams.
