In Afghanistan, a man has killed ten relatives. Among the victims are his two wives, four children, and four other relatives. That says a representative of the local authorities.

 

The man is said to have committed the acts on Sunday in Zaranzh, a city in the southwest of the country.

According to the initial findings of the police, based on a surveillance camera, the man would have had an assault weapon and had been wearing a bulletproof vest. He fled in a car.

His exact motive is still unclear, a Taliban representative said.
