The German State of Saarland Will End Its Lockdown After Easter

The German state of Saarland will end the lockdown after Easter.

Cinemas, sports centres, and restaurants with outdoor space may open their doors again, says the region’s prime minister. People do need a negative result of a rapid corona test to use it.

Saarland, which borders Luxembourg and France, will thus become the first German state to end the lockdown subject to conditions.

This will happen from April 6. Local media have already written about a “Saarland Model”.
