In Germany, the number of new coronavirus infections has increased significantly.

 

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German state institute for public health, announced on Wednesday that 4058 new cases had been detected.

That is over 1,200 more than the 2,828 new corona infections reported on Wednesday. This brings the total number of infections in Germany to 310,144.

In Germany, 16 new deaths from Covid-19 were recorded by the RKI. There are just as many as the day before. This brings the total death toll to 9,578.
