Junta Myanmar is Receiving A High Visit for the First Time

For the first time, the military junta in Myanmar is receiving a high visit. Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi will be visiting on Thursday, officials in the Myanmar capital have confirmed.

The Indonesian government just wants to say that Marsudo is in Thailand and she will visit other countries in the region.

According to the Myanmar authorities, Retno Marsudi will stay only a few hours. The military seized power on February 1 and imprisoned the democratically elected head of government Aung San Suu Kyi, for not being re-elected in the eyes of the coup plotters.

Their party lost shamefully, and the popular Aung San Suu Kyi overwhelmingly won the November ballot box.

The junta is therefore considered illegal and shunned in many parts of the world.
