Former President Donald Trump Booed for Getting Booster Shot

When former President Donald Trump announced during a rally in Dallas on Sunday that he had received a booster shot against the coronavirus, he was immediately booed by (part of) the audience.

This is evident from a video shared on social media of the private press event.

Despite praising his administration’s efforts to develop coronavirus vaccines, Trump rarely talks publicly about his own vaccine. However, last Sunday, he did, during a conversation with Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.

As soon as Trump answered positively to the question of whether he had already received his booster shot, there was booing among part of the audience. Trump then tries to appease the public himself. “Don’t, don’t, don’t…”

However, in an interview with The Wall Street Journal in September, the former president had stated that he “may not go for the booster”. “I’m not against it, but I feel in good shape. It’s probably not for me,” he said at the time. It is not clear why he has changed his mind.
