EU President Michel is Not Infected With Coronavirus
EU president Charles Michel is not infected with the coronavirus.
Michel had been in quarantine since Tuesday because one of his security guards turned out to have the virus among the members.
The EU summit, which should have taken place on Thursday but was postponed by Michel’s quarantine, can therefore continue next week.
The President of the European Council “is no longer in quarantine and continues preparations” for the meeting of heads of government and heads of state of the European Union next week, his spokesman said.
