Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is infected with the coronavirus. However, she is adhering to the corona measures and is in quarantine, a Clarence House spokesperson reported to British media.

 

No further information has been released about her health. However, her husband, Prince Charles, tested positive for the virus on Thursday.

Camilla and Charles are fully vaccinated and have had their booster as well. Unfortunately, Charles is infected for the second time. He also contracted the virus in March 2020, at the time with mild symptoms.

On Wednesday evening, Charles and Camilla were together at the British Asian Trust gala at the British Museum in London, where the prince shook several hands. On Tuesday, he handed out royal honours at Windsor Castle.

Charles and his mother, Queen Elizabeth, are said to have seen each other the Tuesday before his positive test. Buckingham Palace does not want to make any statements about the health of the 95-year-old queen.
