A military hospital ship, to receive patients who do not have the coronavirus, arrived in New York on Monday.

 

The hospital ship will thus ease the burden of hospitals overwhelmed by the corona crisis.

New York, the US epicentre of the coronavirus, is preparing for the peak of the pandemic that has killed more than 2,500 people in the United States.

The USNS Comfort of the Navy with a thousand beds on board arrived at a pier in Manhattan.
