American country singer Loretta Lynn passed away on Tuesday at the age of 90. She died at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, and her family has told US media.

Lynn broke through in the 1960s with hits such as “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man)” and “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind)”.

She is also known for the autobiographical song ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’.
